Misson Statement

 

As a team our goal is to strive to be the best in everything we do.  In the classroom we will work toward graduating with the highest possible academic average and leave New Canaan High School with the best possible opportunities available.

 

On the field we will relentlessly pursue the FCIAC and State Championship.  We strive to instill a strong work ethic which will help take our student athletes to a higher level.

 

Our Program is based on values of family, successful attitudes and team chemistry.  We believe in honesty, integrity, strength of character, care and confidence.

 

We embrace commitment to excellence, loyalty, selflessness, trust and humility.  We teach overcoming adversity, establishing priorities, goal setting and the value of diversity.

 

The New Canaan Football family is where there is shared responsibilities, care and discipline and an absence of special privileges.

 

We strive to make the football experience educational, worthwhile, and memorable; while enjoying the fun, camaraderie, teamwork, and friendships that come from playing this great game.

 

Finally, gaining confidence from our success will carry on throughout the rest of our lives.  We will have fun playing the great game of football, gaining a meaningful education and experience relationships that will last a lifetime.
